Standard Strollers

A standard stroller is just a regular stroller without any of the special features that might accompany a

lightweight stroller, a sit and stand stroller, or a travel system. Standard Strollers are the most common and heavily used strollers on the market today. Generally they are heavier than umbrella strollers and come with (or you can buy separately) a large number of features including storage areas, cup holders, reclining seats, sun canopies, car seat adaptors and more.

Standard Strollers come in a wide variety of price ranges from $50 to close to $1000. Generally the higher priced strollers are built with tougher materials and last longer. It is often a wise decision to purchase a more expensive stroller if you think you may have more than one child because they often will last through several children. Whereas cheaper strollers may have to be replaced. Of course there are always exceptions to every rule. We encourage our readers to submit their own stroller stories to help new parents make these decisions.
