New Mother

I was given the opportunity to pick out my stroller that was given to me as a gift. I loved the Eddie Bauer stroller it was a neutral colour, looked comfortable for a newborn and had a lot of features that I thought to be useful.

When I had my baby and was ready to take him home from the hospital my first words as I was putting him in the carseat was OH NO! I had my son in May and in northern Canada the weather isn't the warmest so I used a bunting bag and it didn't fit very well the seat area is very narrow. Also the seat belt straps are really rough along the edge and they rub against the babies neck. I used the strap covers from the stroller but find that you can't position the chest closer were it is suppose to go.

After we did our best to solve these problems, I went to put up the cover and it did not shade the carseat nearly as much as it should. I have had to continuously use a blanket to shade it more.

Fast forward to 3 months... I am out shopping for a toy bar that I can put on the carseat to entertain my little one, and when I tried it on it was so close to his face that he couldn't focus on it. It was practically sitting on his face. So now I have to use extension rings and hang toys from the sides of it and he really couldn't be bothered.

The Eddie Bauer stroller is amazing I have no issues with it at all it works well with or without the seat.

I would give the carseat a 2 out of 5 rating and the stroller a 5 out of 5 rating.

If I plan on having another child in the future I would seriously consider buying a new carseat in hopes of better quality.
