Lightweight Strollers

Lightweight Strollers are basically regular strollers with a few less features and less bulk, which

make them a bit easier for running quick errands or when you are traveling and have limited space. Lightweight Strollers should easily fit into your car's trunk.

Most of the strollers we consider "lightweight" weigh under 20 pounds. Don't be fooled by the term "lightweight" though when thinking of features. Many of today's lightweight strollers have the same amenities as their full-featured cousins such as easy folding mechanisms, sun shades, storage baskets, and 5-point harnesses.

Some lightweight strollers are not sturdy enough for larger children though, so always take into consideration the stroller's weight limit when deciding on a model. For example, Inglesina Swift Lightweight Stroller only accommodates up to 35 pounds, whereas the Maclaren Volo Stroller will hold up to 55 pounds.
